PornhwaDB is a community-built database for discovering adult Korean manhwa, also called pornhwa. Browse series, characters, tags, scene information, and reader ratings to find something that interests you.
No. PornhwaDB catalogs series and scenes; it does not host full chapters for reading. Gallery images are individual community uploads. Check a series page for links to its official sources where available.
You can browse the database without signing in. An account lets you save favorites, track your reading, create lists, rate and review titles, and contribute information or gallery images.
Chapter entries describe scenes and can cover one chapter or a range of chapters. A chapter may contain several distinct scenes, each with its own characters and tags, so repeated chapter numbers are not necessarily duplicates. These entries are scene references, not a complete reading index.
Reading tracking records your status and progress for a series. Use Track on a series page, then manage your reading from your profile. Lists group titles into collections, such as recommendations around a theme. Waifu tier lists rank characters on a board you can share.
New accounts need a verified email to complete signup and help limit spam and rating abuse. Follow the verification step after signing up or signing in. If your sign-in provider does not supply an email, you will need to add and verify one. Accounts that existed before this requirement are exempt.
New accounts must wait 24 hours after the site confirms their email verification before rating or reviewing. The rating controls show your remaining wait and exact unlock time. You can still browse and manage your reading during that time. Gallery uploads do not have this rating wait, and accounts exempt from the new verification requirement are also exempt from the wait.
Yes. You can leave a star rating without writing a review. Return to the series rating controls to change your rating. In the Reviews tab, your own review has controls to edit or delete it.
Search for the title and its alternative names first to check whether it is already listed. If it is missing, sign in and open Submit. Add the information you can verify, including official source links where available, then send it for review.
Sign in, open the series page, and choose Edit. You can suggest changes to its details, characters, scenes, and tags. Submit corrections to the existing entry rather than creating another title. Some fields may be locked against edits.
Community title submissions and suggested edits go through review before they appear in the database. Open Submissions in your profile to check the status and any reviewer notes, or resume a saved draft. A pending submission has not been approved yet; please avoid sending the same change again.
Sign in, open a series page, switch to Gallery, and choose Upload. You can upload even when that gallery is empty. Follow the upload form's requirements and add accurate series, character, or chapter details where available. The gallery is for individual images, not full-chapter uploads.
The database depends on community contributions, so coverage varies between titles. Missing scene entries do not mean a series has no more chapters. If you have reliable information to add, suggest an edit on the series page.
For incorrect series information, suggest an edit on its page. For a bug or something that needs moderator attention, contact us on Discord using the link below. Include the exact page URL and explain what is wrong. For bugs, include what you were doing and your browser or device. Never share passwords or verification codes.
