This manhwa was actually my first pornhwa, and it was also the one that got me into reading pornhwa in the first place. As for the story itself, it was just alright. There wasn't really anything particularly impressive or memorable about it, so I wouldn't say the story is its strongest point. The art, however, is where this manhwa really stands out. Even compared to many of the newer pornhwas being released today, the artwork still holds up surprisingly well considering how old this manhwa is. The drawings are detailed, the characters look good, and the body proportions and figures are drawn quite well. But at many places later on in the chapters it feels not as good as the early chapter drawings , but that is fine. The s*x scenes could have been better, but they were still decent and enjoyable enough when compared with many other pornhwas. They could have added more passionate love in s*x between characters. Ratings Art: 4.5/5 Story: 2.5/5 S*x Scenes: 3.5/5 Overall, it's not a manhwa I'd praise much for its story, but the artwork definitely makes it worth checking out, especially considering its age. And personally, I'll always remember it as the manhwa that introduced me to the genre. Still a good pornwha compared to many bad ones out there.

[Archival Review from: Aug 11, 2025] I can’t tear myself away, but damn, this ride is brutal—but wildly compelling. Story: 7/10 This starts with Hyun-soo, a timid sports-betting pawn under a charismatic thug, who spirals into a twisted web of desire and dominance. The first half feels like a dark character study—revenge hungers simmer under every panel. Once Hyun starts reshaping himself into a ruthless counterpart, the momentum surges—but pacing in Season 2 feels a little rushed, especially the finale that wraps up too quickly. Art: 10/10 The art is a knockout—vivid, intense, and visually arresting across the board. The coloring and line work set it apart from most in the genre. What really pushes it to a 10 is how each girl’s proportions feel distinct—different body shapes, curves, and silhouettes—yet all are drawn to be sexy in their own way. It’s an attention to detail you rarely see pulled off this consistently. Characters: 7/10 Hyun’s arc from a timid underling to a confident powerhouse is compelling in the moment, but by the end, the weight of his transformation feels oddly hollow—like the journey didn’t pay off as much as it should have. Jenna HONG is the clear best girl. Her introduction is rough—being used as little more than eye candy for shady side plots—but her genuine kindness and quiet strength shine through. She’s a sweetheart who deserved far better from the story, and her gentle loyalty gives big Hinata Hyuuga energy. So-Da MIN starts strong too, with an assertive but likable presence, though the series leans on her a bit too hard by the final chapters, making her appearances lose impact. Mia WOO, on the other hand, drags the pacing down. A lot of page time gets burned on her subplot, and the eventual payoff is underwhelming at best. The rest of the female cast is fine individually, but there’s a consistent issue: they all lean more toward fulfilling a fantasy than feeling like real, fleshed-out people. Their loyalties, desires, and personalities shift too conveniently between Hyun and Gunner, which makes them less believable as characters and more like props in the power struggle. Gunner also is a fairly decent antagonist. I rate him where he is, consdiering that. Of course, he is not meant to be likeable. Overall: 8/10. It's story and characters can be shallow, but it is always entertaining and damn does it look amazing all the time!

Girls In Prison

[Archival Review from: Jun 9, 2025] I wish I could have finished this series, but for now I have to put it on hold because the direction the story is going is actually just really hard to read. Story: 8/10. Although I am not a fan of the direction of the story now, I can't deny that it is a good story. If you are coming here to read a story, you will most likely enjoy it, just be ready to read some cringe and intense scenes at points. I think the first half is really engaging and also fun to read, but after a certain event, it goes in such a different direction. And while I still see it's good qualities from a story stand point, from an enjoyment standpoint it really loses me. Art: 7/10. The art is not bad. It does it's job. I don't think it's great or anything to write home about, but yeah it's fine. Characters: 3/10. This is where I have a problem. I think making the story the way it is is fine. Not for me, but whatever. But the characters are really insufferable. Even the best girl (who I do love don't get me wrong) does horrible things. The manhwa is much more focused on making a story that engages you rather than characters you love. If it's not obvious by my tier list, even though there are so many characters, many of them are just average or downright horrible. Overall: 6/10. Read it for the story, not for the characters and you will probably get more merit out of it than me.

Her Secret Account

3.5

[Archival Review from: Jan 22, 2025] Her Secret Account is a nice and short 15 chapter story about Saerom Ham, who has a secret account where she shares lewd photos. One day she gets caught by Young-min Kwon, one of her bosses, who turns out to be one of her fans. Story: 8/10. The story is very wholesome. The dynamic between our leads is very cute to watch unfold. I think the only issue is that it sort of ends out of nowhere. It's rare for a flaw with manhwa's to be that they are too short, but I truly think that is it. But at the end of the day, its still avery good story. Art: 7/10. The art is good too. Honestly not a huge fan of how the character's faces are drawn though. But their bodies are great. Characters: 7/10. The issue of the length becomes more relevent here. I think having a few more chapters would have helped. Overall: 7.5/10. A very fun read. Its super short too. I'm suprised no one else has reveiwed it. For what it is, its a very good time!

Sex Study Group

3.5

[Archival Review from: Dec 6, 2024] Sex Study Group is another one of those manhwa that I think has a pretty strong start, but drops the ball later on. Story: 4/10. This ranking may seem a bit harsh, but I honestly found the story to be very lackluster. It's a very interesting premise. A guy joins a secret study group that is actually a front for all the members to have sex and report about it. I was hoping for more from the other male characters, a competitive aspect, but the series opts to become a harem, which for a plot set up like this is truly just a waste imo. The story takes a strange turn later too. If you look, there are two girls listed as 'the main characters'. They are seen as the pure ones, those who are not a part of sex study. When they actually start getting involved in sexual hygienics, I was hoping they would have a bigger role. But no, the story opts to try to balance out the cast with two new players and it really does a horrible job. And without spoiling it, I'm not a big fan of endings like these. Art: 9/10. The art is amazing. Can't deny that. Love the color work on the art, makes it really pop. I do wish their was slightly more variety on each girl's proportions. Characters: 7/10. They are all pretty good. Again, I think the second half really fails the two main characters, that's my only gripe. Both Eun-Jang and Da-Eun (especially) are so interesting. But, we don't get enough time and rather focus on the other members who already had their chance at the start. Overall: 6.5/10. Good art and pretty good characters. It's far from being my favorite, but I made it to the end and did enjoy myself for the most part

The Unwanted Roommate

3

[Archival Review from: Oct 22, 2024] The Unwanted Roommate is about Sean Kim who lets his friend's younger sister, Judy Hahm stay at his place. Story: 6/10. The story is fine enough. Honestly it makes some strange choices in the middle chunk, but the ending is very nice. Although I do wish it could expand off of the ending more. Art: 5/10. Serviceable. I would be lying if I said it was very good, but it gets the job done I guess. It's very average overall. Characters: 7/10. Judy is a great character and certainly best girl. She gets some great development and the main character is alright, with everything considered. Maddie is just tossed aside after the weird turn in the story near the end. That's the only aspect that really brings it down. Maddie's existance sort of feels pointless by the end. Overall: 6/10. It's a good enough of a read and it's very short, so you won't lose much.

Follow Me

5

[Archival Review from: Oct 21, 2024] #Follow Me is a manhwa about an average looking guy who gets put into a group with three others. super hot girls. Their goal in the class is to make a social media page that has the most followers. Erin (Hye-Eun Yoon) takes it upon herself to present their idea to the class. She shows a picture of her half naked and with some quick thinking, Brent (Dong-Joo Choi), tells the class their social media page would be about taking 'sexy pictures' of their group mates. Story: 9/10. The set up is a classic, as you could tell. Something that would ONLY work in a pornhwa. But when you get past this set up, you quickly find the story actually has a lot going for it too. It's actually a very good drama and the characters carry the plot very well. It's simple when you boil down to its big events, but that really is not a bad thing. Most manhwas have these simple plots and if they can get them to work well that's all that matters. There are two things I respect the most about this story without spoiling it. The first is its pacing. So many series do not care about pacing and choose only to have shmex scenes. This gets annoying after a while because it feels like there really is nothing there for the story. #Follow Me is not scared to have full chapters of no shmex and honestly it's great. The second great thing is its length. It does not drag at all and god is that so rare for harems. Art: 9/10. Now honestly, this would be an easy 10 if you are only talking about the first 40 chapters. But, when you get to the last 20 chapters, I don't know what happens, but the art does take a turn for the worse. By no means is it bad. I'd say it's a 7. But the issue does become prevalent when you look at what the art was like before. Overall though, it is a 9. All the girls do have very similar proportions, but with how god damn good the art and color is, it does not hinder it too much. And there are certainly differences. Erin is by far, the most busty. Characters: 10/10. Truly, this is the best aspect of #Follow Me. I have seen very few series with so many well written girls. Each one has a distinct personality, but also behave the way they do for understandable reasons. The shmex scenes are more than just surface level. They all have a reason for happening. And each girl goes through their own development in a very short and concise amount of time. There is a definite 'winner' in the harem by the end and to be honest, any one of these girls deserved it and more. The main character himself is also amazing. Fair warning, he is more of the shy and insecure guy. But if you can get past your notions on this character archetype, I think you have a truly amazing protagonist waiting for you. His development was the best. All of these characters are hits, making it a no brainer that it gets a 10 here. Overall: 9.5/10. If the art was consistent throughout, this would easily be my favourite manhwa. But it is still a masterpiece nonetheless and wayyy too underrated!

Her Nickname Is…

3

[Archival Review from: Oct 18, 2024] "Her Nickname is..." a nice short manhwa about two couples separate shmex adventures. Story: 6/10. The story is fine enough. It's meant to be simple, its essentially trying to replicate famous monster within specific scenarios. It's honestly quite a cool concept, however, I think the story would benefit a lot from having a new couple each time to represent certain monsters, rather than repeat the same two. With that in mind though, I find that Hyunee and her boyfriend's scenarios are far more hit or miss. Besides the mermaid one, I have a hard time buying into the werewolf one and more so, the goblin one. Mina's are all consistently great though and she certainly carries the stories. I also do wish there was a foursome as an ending as well. Would have helped cap everything better. Art: 8/10. I really like the art. Mina's skinny but busy proportions are rare to find in manhwa, so I was a huge fan of the art style because of this approach. The colors are also very nice! Characters: 5/10. If it was not apparent already, I far prefer Mina and her boyfriend's stories. They are a far more engaging couple. Hyunee and her boyfriend are a bit more on the generic type too, which really for this type of story does not do them any favors. They are just really boring and anytime they had chapters I was sorta skimming through them to get to the more dynamic and fun characters. Overall: 6/10. It's a nice read and does not overstay its welcome. If it polished a few things, I think it could be far stronger.

JOHNSON CONTRACT

[Archival Review from: Oct 16, 2024] This is the most fu*king weird thing I have ever read. I can't even formulae a proper intro. Story: 8/10. The story is actually insane. This is easily the most I have laughed in a while. Don't go in expecting to get a good jork session, go in expecting to laugh your ass off. The story actually makes my brain hurt, but I have to give it an 8 for the sheer insanity of it. Art: 5/10. The art is not great. The proportions are too exegerated and unappealing at points. But the colors are nice. Servicible, but art should really not matter when you read this, it's not meant to be read for that reason lol. Characters: 1/10. I can't justify anything else. Every descion that every character makes is stupid. Again, it helps make the story be as funny as it is, but god do I not like any character here. Even the one who I might like by the end, Minji, is not immune to the BS of this story. Hence why their is no tierlist here. There is no best girl. Overall: 4/10. Read it for the laughs. That's it. There is a part 2, but I don't think I will ever have it in me to get to it.

Don't Tell Mom!

4

[Archival Review from: Oct 15, 2024] Don't Tell Mom is a manhwa about Ha-Seong, a young boy who moves to another town to live with his mother's friend and her daughter. It is a small-scale harem manhwa, focusing primarily on three different girls. Story: 6/10. The story is a mixed bag. This is basically 85% smut, 15% story and there is nothing wrong with that. I have read manhwa with equally, if not more emphasis on the smut part and their stories are still good. The issue is how hard this manhwa drops the bag in the 2nd half. The first half is honestly a strong 8 to low 9 in terms of story. It's simple, but the way it handles character interactions is super fun. It sticks to a fairly rigid formula too. Even though it is a harem, it basically cycles through arcs where one girl is the only focus for the shmex scenes. Again, this is fine too. It works when our protagonist has yet to do it with any other girl. But the second half is where it starts to really lose the sauce. The writer keeps imploring this strange act structure in the second half, for no reason. He adds random subplots between the mom and sister that make things worse, leading to something horrible near the end. And the main character basically becomes a whole different person randomly as well (but more into this later). It boils down to, it goes on too long for this to keep working and top that with horrible choices near the second half and you get the score I have given. Art: 9/10. The art is damn near perfect. No complaints. Proportions for each girl are nice and distinct, but all equally sexy. The only minor problem is the outline in some scenes is strange to me. Characters: 8/10. Another aspect that could have been far higher. This truly just boils down to the main character. All the girls are great and honestly it was hard picking my favorite. But the issue is the main character. He goes from being a nice and kind gentleman, to a manipulating and sometimes harsh dick. The reason I loved this manhwa so much was because how down to earth the main character was. As soon as he starts to waver, the other girls stop becoming as interesting. Does not help either that the author hates intermingling his harem plotlines. But to be fair, he tried with the mom and the sister, and if you have read it, you know how that went. So, maybe he saved us from even worse scenarios. Overall: 8/10. I had a lot of negatives to say, but it is ultimately coming from a place of really enjoying this series. It is highly rated and to be honest, near the start I totally got why. It was simple but very nice. But it quickly outran its runtime and by like 50 chapters, made its story engine get worse on its own, along with making so many bad mistakes along the way. The ending though is still good and honestly, if they shoved the ending closer to around the chapter 50 or 60 mark, this could be a 9 or even a 10. But, its gotta settle for the 8 in the end.

Panty Note

2

[Archival Review from: Oct 12, 2024] Panty Note is a series with a lot of potential. But it failed to live up to that, making me drop it at Chapter 131. It is a Death Note inspired manga about Ja Wook Wang who finds a notebook called the Panty Note. Any women who he sees the Panties of will allow him to have shmex with them. Story: 4/10. While the premise is interesting at first, it really does nothing with it if I am being honest. This is the type of series that would benefit from a lot of different female characters, but for some reason, it only revolves around two for a majority of the story. Eun-Mi and Se-Hwa Jang are very much the secondary characters here and for a series like this, restricting it to mostly only two girls makes it far harder to actually make good use of the premise. Also, the longer the story does go on, the more unhinged it gets. Of course you would expect that from a series like this, but the main character starts reaching points where it isn't just him using a happy coincidence to see their panties, no, he is straight up assaulting them. And more rules just keep being added, one of which is that when you have shemx outdoors because of the panty note, no one can notice, they just walk past you. The whole goddamn point of public shmex in these stories is the thrill of being caught. Stupid rules and details like these that get added just make the story so much less engaging. Art: 7/10. The art is good. It does not have the most flattering faces for some characters though, I will be honest. And the proportions of all the women are once again too similar. But it is serviceable and gets better as time goes on. Characters: 3/10. The characters are impossible to rank fairly. The main character sucks for one. So that one is an easy low score. But the female cast, while all being good in their own way, really feel so shallow and like nothing. Half of it is not their fault. You quickly realise that when the premise is mind control until they actually love you, it does not leave room for many differing personalities. Hence, why having such a strong focus on certain characters actually ends up making the overall cast worse. I put Eun-Mi as the best girl, but only because she is the only one who has somewhat of an arc, even if it takes so long to get to that point even though she is legit the main focus for so damn long. Overall: 4/10. Overall, Panty Note was fun at the start and had a lot of promise. It did not live up to it and I tried my best to stick with it for as long as I could.

Hero Manager

4

[Archival Review from: Oct 12, 2024] Hero Manager is a short manhwa about a world of superpowered humans. Our main character suddenly loses his powers one day, which leads to him losing his status and old girlfriend. Story: 8/10. From the premise alone, it is pretty easy to tell that this is a damn great story. I would be willing to give it a 10 as well, except for the fact that it feels incomplete. Everything that is set up in the story is great! But the series barely has time to expand on it and it feels like it ends so randomly. With that being said, it does explore a lot of cool things. Sex with super powers and exploring a MC who actually has a reason for being a harem magnet. The only issue once again, is that he does not get the time to be a harem magnet since the series ends so abruptly. Art: 9/10. It's just damn beautiful. This type of anime-esqu art style tends to be more of my forte. And Hero Manager is certainly one of the best at it. The only issue is that the proportions on characters is pretty one note. Other than that. Amazing! Characters: 9/10. Both the main male and female characters are great. And I actually have a hard time deciding who I prefer more. They actually both have amazingly well thought out backstories and great writing. So as far as the main cast is concerned. Easy 10. But the side cast, while being super interesting, barely has time to do anything (as you can tell by my final ranking of these characters, where most of the last few tiers are random ways to say they don't have enough screentime). Overall: 8.5/10 Overall a pretty damn good read. It sucks because I could see this being an easy masterpiece if it went on for a little while longer. Sadly, that was not the case.

Sports Girl

3.5

[Archival Review from: Oct 11, 2024] Sports Girl is an anthology series that revolves around a bunch of hot, atlethic girls having shmex. It's simple, to the point and overall a pretty fun read. Story: 5/10. Anthology manhwas are pretty hard to justify a good story rank for. By themselves these stories last around 4-6 chapters and are good, but they tend to be very surface level. I think having more than just one shmex scene per girl, or a big finale where they come together in some way would help bump up an average overall story to a strong 8 (or more depending on how it is done). It being an anthology is not the issue, but its lack of making up for some of those shortcomings that come from this format is. Art: 8/10. Good Art. The panelling is a bit strange and is the only aspect that brings it down. Other than that, art itself is great and all the female characters are extremely hot, with most being nice and varied. Characters: 8/10. Almost all of these characters are great. Once again, I wish I had more time with all of them, but in 4-6 chapters, a lot of good groundwork is done to make them likeable. It helps that each is paired with another guy. It helps keep it vanilla, which as far as character goes, makes it far easier to like the whole cast. Overall: 7/10. A really enjoyable read, that with a few tweaks could be something even better.

Sexercise

5

[Archival Review from: Oct 9, 2024] Sexercise is one of the best manhwa's I have read thus far. It does a great job and not only having a great premise, but excersicing it very well in all other aspects as well. Story: 9/10. The story is a love story between Woong Bae and Soohyun Yoo at is core. And that main event that the story builds up too is wonderful. It runs its course throughout the entire run. It makes you want them to get together since outside fucking a couple of times, don't actually have sex too often. It feels like a shonen love story, which is very rare in 18+ manhwa, but a welcome addtion that's for sure. I love how the story ends when it is supposed to as well. It does not overstay its welcome. Once the main goal is done the story ends. This is really where I would say my only flaw comes from. I wish there was a bit of an epilogue since outside of our main couple, there were a few others I would have loved to see a proper resolution too (Hyuna CHA and Sunyoo LEE for example) Art: 10/10. I love the art style of this manhwa. It has the perfect blend of realistic, but also expressive. I also really appreciate how all the proportions of each girl and guy are vastly different from one another. It is so boring when every single girl has the exact same proportions. You get all types of gals. You get the thicc ones, the fit ones, the big breasted ones and a few in-between! It easily deserves the 10/10 here. Characters: 10/10. Not is the art perfect but so too are the characters. Now naturally the female cast is the most important thing and Sexercise, excels at this. There is not a single female character that I don't think is at least good. And even if they are lower than that, it's simply due to a lack of screentime. The cast is stacked, with not only hotties, but great personalities all throughout. Soohyun YOO is best girl, but I also love Hyuna CHA and Hani MO, both being very nuanced characters for what arecthype they represent. But imo, what is even more impressive is the male cast. I really wish more manhwa's placed a greater emphasis on a balanced male cast as well. Harem's are very fun, but they can only last so long before it starts to get repeitive. Every male character is great in this series. And even Charim, who I hate, serves his purpose so well, that in the end, there is not a single character who is bad from a story perspective. Overall: 10/10. Damn near a perfect read! One of my favorites!

Learning The Hard Way

4

[Archival Review from: Jan 4, 2024] Learning the Hard Way is an interesting manhwa. It uses perhaps the most cliche trope in all of manhwa (the bully to lover trope) and does so quite generically. Even so, there is a lot to enjoy about this interpretation of that trope. Story: 7.5/10. For a manhwa, Learning the Hard Way has the reverse problem that most do. Instead of starting off with an interesting plot and slowly becoming more and more receptive, Learning the Hard Way actually starts off pretty shaky with its story. It handles the bully to lover trope very poorly in the early chapters. It has a big pay off for this 'arc', but the issue is as an audience they never really make us believe the MC was bullied. Its pace is too fixated on the shmex scenes, making the plot lose its steam before it even truly begins. However, what saves the story is the After Story. It is a series of 35 extra chapters that ditches a lot of the stupid love triangle bits for more intersting scenarios. This is arguably where the manhwa is at its peak, which is rare since the first half of the story is quite frankly a 6/10 at best. This section redeems a lot of the shortcomings in the earlier chapters. Art: 9/10. The art is great. The only flaw is that every character tends to have the same proportions, which is an issue a lot of manhwa face. Characters: 8/10. Yejin Lim is a great and her main competitor of Chae is also great in her own right. The only issue with the Yejin is that her arc of going from bullied to lover has all the right steps to be great, but since they rush into shemx scenes, it loses the build up to make the payoff worth it. All the side character are also great, however, they do suffer from being under-utilized. Kasha is a stand out chaarcter, who while only getting 3 major shmex scenes, stands out so much for her striking design. I just wish her and the other characters could have more time to develop, they are all truly great and could have helped immensely in diversifying the love drama between Yejin and Chae. Overall: 8/10. Still a great read!

BFF To GF?

3

[Archival Review from: Jan 6, 2024 ] BFF to GF has some really good ideas, but its execution on those ideas leaves much to be desired. Story: 4/10. This is a fairly harsh rating, but rightfully so when you consider everything. The first issue has to be the pacing. Most manhwas indulge in far too many shmex scenes and have outright no plot inbetween, BFF to GF does the opposite. It indulges too much in the drama. The pacing takes far too long to go anywhere. By the time the Jake has to make a choice on who to pick, it comes out of left field and is far too rushed. The ending is one of the worst I've seen in a while. Its not bad in its own right, but the pacing ruins any positives I could say about it. The other issue is that the focus of the plot is not great. Between both girls Julie has the far more captivating plot (by being a streamer). It can go in very intersting directions, but since Judy is the main girl it never has the time too. Judy's plot while having some great substance to it, once again does not have enoughg time to be fleshed out. Art: 9.5/10. Almost flawless. The proportions of both girls is diverse from one another and the art itself is amazing. The only flaw is that it does take a dip in quality in the last few chapters, but not like there is any shmex scenes in the last chapters either way, so not too big of a deal. Characters: 6/10. Judy is a good character. She has a tsundere arc, but since there is so much time placed on the drama it does allow for her to have a lot of great devlopment and charcaterization. Julie is best girl, but sadly she does not get the time she deserves to be fleshed out. And the bigger issue is that the chemistry between these characters feels off. Its hard to describe unless you read it, but all the interactions feel very forced (mostly with Julie and Judy) (Character ranking [no tierlist since there are only 3 characters] --> 1. Julie 2. Judy 3. Jake) Overall: 6/10. There were some good ideas, but in the end, the manhwa really does a lot wrong with its pacing.

An Outsider’s Way In

3.5

[Archival Review from: Dec 28, 2023] An Outsider-Way In is a beautifully drawn Manhwa with mediocre story, but fairly good characters. If you here just for the art, then you will be pleased. Out of the manhwa I have read it is some of the best drawn and the style is very colorful and wonderful to look at. The story is hit or miss. The first half is pretty great, but the more you progress along the more it divulges into long-drawn out drama that does not have much going for it. Especially, when considering the resolution, no spoilers but it is very underwhelming. The characters are very nice. I wish Sadie got some more development. The Love Triangle only goes so far with plot development and in the second half I believe Sadie's presence could have benefited in fleshing out the drama. Overall... 7/10. Still a worthy read despite neglecting Sadie's character and the messiness in the second half.

I am going to be extremely blunt with you all: this shit is so ass. Terrible art, crazy as fuck developments, how the fuck does anyone even conceive this shit and somehow get it approve? There is NO any redeeming qualities with this pornhwa unless you like things spiraling out of control. Yeah, good luck with that the art. So do yourself a favor AND DO NOT READ THIS PORNHWA! It is best to leave this pornhwa as that one cringe memory. By the end of the day, I'm just thankful for all the good vanilla, non-vanilla, and hardcore pornhwa we have, even if some of them are carried by the art. SINCE THIS IS NOT ART AT ALL.

Character development & responses are little haphazard! Though the series looks good/okaish till now! Art is fairly good, with a good story line to move forward, unless author or publishing house don't do some BS or NS! Let's see how it progresses!
